Rs Stubbs This is your quote, ” people who live independently seem to get targeted” And yes, EVERY administration has done this to one group or another Pres. Nixon, a republican was president during wounded knee; Feb. 27 to May 8th 1973

'This is what the well in Porter Ranch looks like... it was completed in 1953 and was equipped with a downhole "safety" valve which is a device that was originally developed by Halliburton in the 1940s to prevent catastrophic releases of reservoirs to the surface.

The "safety" valve was removed by SoCal Gas Company in 1979 and never replaced. DOGGR regulators... should sit in the same jail cell with the managers that allowed this to happen.

According to quotes from company representatives, the valve was old, unreliable, and could not be serviced. The company further justifies its removal and decision not to replace it based on difficulty in obtaining replacement parts and that the well was not considered a critical well which they define as one being close to roadways or sensitive receptors.'

David Hawkins Internet gold!

Mick Lett What the rest of the world needs to do is start bombing Oregon where the terrorists are, and a bit around them, and a few other places just for the hell of it, all just to help the US people of course. Then when the local population try to leave as refugees, refuse them entry.

Julia Clark replied to Pat Sharp‘s comment.
Pat Sharp It did go through the system. Feds changed the jail time. That arson charge was complete BS. It was a controlled burn by local firemen for a fireline to protect during the wildfires. Minimum sentence was given locally certain sorts of the the feds stepped in an was looking reep some fresh

Julia Clark replied to Pat Sharp‘s comment.
Absolutely, guaranteed incomes need to be addressed. How is that to be managed.

I realize you live down here in the megalopolis, and are no longer understanding of remote and rural. However, do not wish for that abuse simply because others have had it. Moreover, slander from the corporate run media, and that is what it is, and it is what it is. Switch to organic media.

Lisa Watson Well, at the very least intell contractors are now pushing Sanders instead of Clinton, so there is that. smile emoticon
You really want to address loss of habitat, then address industrialized farming.
Fracking, and other corporate state monstrosities locally and globally. And lets not forget gentrification.

Bruce McLean So just because this is rural people, they should not be recognized? I should not be allowed to use our public land to live? Our resources are only for corporate profit?

I am going to add a new dimension. So not only is homeless not allowed to camp in the city, but homeless are not allowed to live on federal land.
