Of course, Native Americans should have been US citizens from the get go. However, here is the signed, sealed, and delivered declaration.

So, bundy and Hammonds business set aside. How do you feel about the states taking back control of land that the feds are controlling?
Do you think states like oregon would be better off being able to control our own timber funds?
Would we prosper or fall?
Remember, put aside all the drama and just look at the bigger picture, the result of these consequences!

This was the the origins of your gaslighting , “no money, just belief..”. One must have a livable way and means. I know by now you heard what I did. And it was important. and it still is important. Occupy is still alive and well. For goodness sake man, they are calling the what’s happening in Oregon an Occupation. And please before you get your cackles up. What they are doing is important. The houseless are not allowed to camp in the city, nor in the Fed lands, which is at 1/3 of the nation. that amount of land sitting forboden is also creating an unnatural market.
Occupy is not dead, is just our other half is waking up.

My life saving medicine, when I first got it was $0.25 an injection. It is now, in the US $5.00 an injection. That is a 6000% increase. At $0.25 an injection, when this medicine was discovered to to work for me, it replaced $900+ a month medicine. I became well. And my medicines were affordable at $7.50 a month. I felt that I would be able to manage my health care and begin to crawl out of the horrid poverty my catastrophic illness had stricken me to. But at $150 on a $750 monthly budget, I may never return to fiscal well-being to where I can participate in society in a productive and wholesome manner.

That article is not fully truthful the grant is for “The recipient must be a collaborative, State, tribal, local, or regionally-based network or partnership of public or private entities, “

Mary Broadhurst Well, I suppose that the Occupy has never had any one lie, not have their own agenda. This is a first. Oh my!

Well, Stock Markets are little more than legalized gambling. I believe in a localized economy There really are not that many larger projects that benefit the larger population. I have been in and around construction from building oil rigs to bridges (vast ones) to 65 ft deep containment walls, and Intrastate roads and byways, excluding the oil rigs, which was Halliburton, most of that was what I would classify as local men and women.
I think that the military and the CCC would be be better used toward the interstate projects. I am very conservative. I think the WWII immigration into the city need to be reversed. People need food, shelter, wholesome care and not much more, entertainment, arts, and dare I say even education all come natural when people are living in a wholesome way.
And I disagree that health care for children does not benefit society.
I don’t know how much I would believe anything DonDon says, personally from first hand knowledge. Again he is a great party guy, but I do not know if I would trust him with long term sobriety. Wanting and being able to do, is two different things.I could over look DonDon’s unsomber and unsober rant’s, but like Bernie he has put forth no plan on how he will address the Presidential Bubble. Without a plan of action the Corporate State will do him like a babe on the dark web.

BTW, I just made up that party. And I call dibs in the best Trump fashion to being it’s founder. tongue emoticon

I do what is right because it is right, not because it is a social construct.

if I GOT to wear a party banner. I am of the American Party

And Don Ferguson , it is not about third party. There should be No Parties of significance.

I don’t dislike Trump. But he is a bunch of Ballyhoo. I highly recomend, if you every get a chance to party with him, DonDon, do so. Jump at it. You’ll have a time you won’t forget. However as Pres…..even if I was looking to disrupt the system, I would not hack him into the Pres.

Don Ferguson John Adams said:

There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader, and concerting measures in opposition to each other. This, in my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution.

George Washington agreed, saying in his farewell presidential speech:

The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism. The disorders and miseries, which result, gradually incline the minds of men to seek security and repose in the absolute power of an individual; and sooner or later the chief of some prevailing faction, more able or more fortunate than his competitors, turns this disposition to the purposes of his own elevation, on the ruins of Public Liberty

Without looking forward to an extremity of this kind, (which nevertheless ought not to be entirely out of sight,) the common and continual mischiefs of the spirit of party are sufficient to make it the interest and duty of a wise people to discourage and restrain it.

It serves always to distract the Public Councils, and enfeeble the Public Administration. It agitates the Community with ill-founded jealousies and false alarms; kindles the animosity of one part against another, foments occasionally riot and insurrection. It opens the door to foreign influence and corruption, which find a facilitated access to the government itself through the channels of party passions. Thus the policy and the will of one country are subjected to the policy and will of another.

There is an opinion, that parties in free countries are useful checks upon the administration of the Government, and serve to keep alive the spirit of Liberty. This within certain limits is probably true; and in Governments of a Monarchical cast, Patriotism may look with indulgence, if not with favor, upon the spirit of party. But in those of the popular character, in Governments purely elective, it is a spirit not to be encouraged. From their natural tendency, it is certain there will always be enough of that spirit for every salutary purpose. And, there being constant danger of excess, the effort ought to be, by force of public opinion, to mitigate and assuage it. A fire not to be quenched, it demands a uniform vigilance to prevent its bursting into a flame, lest, instead of warming, it should consume.

But He (DonDon) is also very good at subterfuge too as I was noting last night while doing my resume from my files.. When I was part of the team that repossessed his motor yacht ….. hold for data Mr. Don Ferguson

And Jeremy Willis Trump is very easily gaslighted. And that should be the main concern. I highly recommend reading that article I wrote.

An entire city poisoned, deliberately. The unspeakable truth of this matter should frighten every American. The unelected governor’s indifference to this catastrophe is telling. He drafts a ludicrous House bill that proposed the transfer of 200,000 acres of federal land to two counties in the Basin.Still holding the water and still talking more land. Getting back to Oregon where the forensic accounting of real property is occurring.
According to Big Think, the state of Oregon has 98.381 square miles owned by the Federal Government.
Paiute tribes possess unceded claims to what was once a 1.78-million-acre reservation called the Malheur Indian Reservation.
1.78 million acres is 2,781.26+ square miles
That still leaves 95,599.73+ square miles owned by the Federal Government. That is a lot of land that is not being used in a livable way.
1/3 of the US land is held by the federal agencies. That lack of land creates an unnatural market creating higher land prices. So high that people can’t live on their basic incomes, forced to work 2,3, sometimes 4 jobs just to afford rent..

According to a report released by a grand jury today, LA County’s current plans to accommodate the homeless throughout the El Niño season are “unconscionable and grossly inadequate.” Big surprise.

The grand jury urged agencies and city leaders to identify public and private buildings that could become temporary shelters and to relax any health, fire, and safety code ordinances that might prevent those spaces from serving as refuges. It also recommended that supplies and equipment be stockpiled in case of emergency, and that tents, tarps, and ponchos be provided to those who cannot find room at shelters.

This map, depicting the distribution and share of federal land per state, was first published way back in 2008. Look at Alaska. If I wanted to go fend for myself after losing my retirement when American Airlines stole it in a merger or after never fully recovering from when Enron’s retirement funds were STOLEN. Unlike Cliven Bundy, the Klamath Basin farmers owned the water. Their water was “deeded”, just like a piece of land that you buy, so it’s actually private property, not a “right” to use the water. All other water holders in the nation only have a “right” to use it. Klamath “owned” their water through a government “deed”.
The farmers and ranchers remaining in the Klamath Basin (southern OR & northern CA) are making their last stand as they seek to work within or around a resolution that will give them very little water of the deeded water they own. The water has been stolen.

Much of their research, which involves interviews, surveys, and field experiments with politicians, is made possible by a special exemption in federal law that allows academics to study public figures without burdensome ethics restraints that govern all other research conducted on humans.

But the federal government is looking to quietly remove that exemption.

Right now the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), which writes the rules on what can and can’t be permitted in human subjects research, is in the process of rewriting its whole ethics code. It issued a set of proposed regulations in September, and January 6 marked the deadline to submit comments on those proposed changes.

Overall, social scientists are pleased with the direction these new rules are pushing: If finalized, surveys and low-risk experiments would no longer be held to the same standard as medical trials, which researchers find unduly burdensome.

But snuck into the 300-plus pages of proposed rules is one line suggesting the government intends to close the major loophole that makes studying public officials practically possible.

Michelle Seymour, which is just a kid from the united kingdom said in another posting, ” Indigenous Americans should be publicly, openly meeting with these militia and talking. It is not about colour or history, but what can be changed now ! Put forward your custodianship of this land, exchange knowledge, come to a treaty and realise that you are essentially fighting for the same things.”
And to some extent she is correct. The gaslighting that the corporate state propagated during those times is horrendous, without a doubt. However the divide and rule strategy as a offensive against the total people at this point in history needs to be seriously considered and analyzed.
Today we have the internet. And the corporate state cannot pull the same shenanigans to the same extent as before.
Bundy has brought some very serious issues to the table. 1/3 of American land is owned by the Federal government. This massive land holding IS affecting food sovereignty of our nation. Every acre that is taken from a rancher, a farmer, a fisherman benefits factory farming, Monsanto, and the likes.
What are these ” dozens more ways of drawing attention”? Vote harder? Hold Bigger Signs? Tip more cop cars? More BlacBlock protest? Tell me and Wounded Knee in ’73 these dozen or more ways to “draw attention”! No one needs more attention. We need corruption of the bureaucracies and rouge agencies to be addressed. We need the Corporate State to disengage their slow moving coup d’etat on the US government.

The BLM’s lack of transparency creates the illusion that everyone is a single victim, when in fact there are many people and small civics have suffered from BLMs gaslightings. The BLM is a dangerous organization that is assisting the theft of land, where by mega players are able to exploit land holdings. And one way the holdings are exploited is with mega loans at 0% interest from rural development USDA.

What I’m saying is this: If students graduating today are still sleeping in mom’s garage…if working people are still living in cars behind the workplace…if “family” is still an impossible concept…I think the poor and the working class will swarm like ants from every dark corner of this country and this world and overthrow the ones in charge, burning everything along the way.
We have the means–and we’ve had it for half a century–for every person to have adequate food, clothes, and housing. If we applied the industrial machinery to housing the same way we apply it to making war, a decent house could be made for an eighth of what we’re paying now, and the rich could still keep their big houses and fancy cars. Just a thought.

Well, there is hope. Monsanto is going before the Hague .

Frankly, while looking at pictures of Wounded Knee, I did not get the same lesson that the inorganic media told me I should get. I got fear of the Corporate State.

That is a lot of equipment.>>>>>>According to Wounded Knee scholar John Sayer, “The equipment maintained by the military while in use during the siege included fifteen armored personnel carriers, clothing, rifles, grenade launchers, flares, and 133,000 rounds of ammunition, for a total cost, including the use of maintenance personnel from the National Guard of five states and pilot and planes for aerial photographs, of over half a million dollars.” I guess, back then they did not have video cameras. And I looked for the pictures from 1973 and could not find many. But there was this one https://tonyseed.files.wordpress.com/2014/12/1973-wounded-knee-apc.jpg

That is not fully truthful 400 rancher and 2.4 million acres will be lost soon. The BLM’s lack of transparency creates the illusion that everyone is a single victim, when in fact there are many people and small civics have suffered from BLMs gaslightings. The BLM is a dangerous organization that is assisting the theft of land, where by as mega players are able to exploit land holdings. And one way the holdings are exploited is with mega loans at 0% interest.
And I pray the article is wrong, there really not need to be another waco, or wounded knee.

Well, there you go. Thank you very much for the time, it is highly appreciated and needed. But try to find just one Occupier that is front lining and send at least care packages. And do it personal, don’t send them stuff they do not need. Paypal and bitcoin maybe out of your ability, but other basic needs and care packages are important.

2 billion for the homeless to construct housing? Plus 200 million more for temporary housing during construction of permanent housing?

$2 billion bond to construct more than 14,000 permanent housing units comes to $142,000+ each.

California has 22 percent of America’s homeless population. In January 2015, 564,708 people were homeless on a given night in the United States. That’s 124,425 homeless in California.

Now, tiny homes cost about $15,000 each. That comes to 133,333 tiny homes for 2 billion. More than enough. 133,625,000 would be left over if 124,425 got tiny homes built. The average cost per acre of “farm” land is $7200 an acre. That’s 18,556 acres of land. 7-19 houses per acre is acceptable by density codes. 6.7 homes would be the tiny home density per acre.

So, which sounds better. Government solution, or homeless persons solution?

I am willing to admit, bundy’s are as silly as a hill of beans, ( I was just sent that strange political ad he was in with the black guy running for office) but this remote occupy protest was and is good strategically. The original sentence should stand. Giving a 75 year old man 5 years for a fire break burn and a field clearing burn, is out of line. Moreover, Mrs. Bundy ( damn that is unfortunate names) has solid research that the BLM land management is reducing the bio-diversity.
The President should pardon the sentences and end this.

Julia Clark commented on John Dragani‘s post.
In a hidden public record she found a study that was done by the FWS in 1975. The study showed that the “no use” policies of the FWS on the refuge were causing the wildlife to leave the refuge and move to private property. The study showed that the private property adjacent to the Malheur Wildlife Refuge produced 4 times more ducks and geese than the refuge did. It also showed that the migrating birds were 13 times more likely to land on private property than on the refuge. When Susie brought this to the attention of the FWS and refuge personnel, her and her family became the subjects of a long train of abuses and corruptions.

Julia Clark commented on John Dragani‘s post.
In the early 1990’s the Hammonds filed on a livestock water source and obtained a deed for the water right from the State of Oregon. When the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and US Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) found out that the Hammonds obtained new water rights near the Malhuer Wildlife Refuge, they were agitated and became belligerent and vindictive towards the Hammonds. The US Fish and Wildlife Service challenged the Hammonds right to the water in an Oregon State Circuit Court. The court found that the Hammonds legally obtained rights to the water in accordance to State law and therefore the use of the water belongs to the Hammonds.*

Don’t split and divide they both are important. It shows a pattern.

This will be a controversial statement: Frankly, if it is white privilege that the feds disregard actions as not worrisome because they do not think white protests are troublesome, then use that white privileged as a cover. But saying these guys are backed by loggers and miners is like saying wikileaks is backed by computer nerds and thus a discredit.

No one gets to use the land when the feds have it, not native, not locals. No one. It sits there gets loaned out at 0% interest to conglomerates in the trillions.

Just out of curiosity John Dragani do understand there are massive amount of people of varying economic distress wandering America. Some of these folks have to sneak in and out of wilderness areas, BLM land, park land, etc… Many if not most are not there by choice and are not the rainbow sort. These are people trying to survive in shocking times. This is an example of why I made sure the rural and small town voice was to be heard in the OWS movement. Certain leaders of the movements across the US and beyond do not understand rural life and real small town living, not small towns that make up megalopolises.

Julia Clark replied to Pat Sharp‘s comment.
Jose E. Martinez the food source of America is a serious problem. Factory farms will profit from these ranchers being driven from the market. . The rural voice makes up 80% of the US space and has 20% of the US population. The rural voice and concerns cannot be ignored. Police brutality for the most part is a city problem. the AMA helped many in rural US. And as for theft the BLM is selling the land left and right. They cannot even account for all their holdings.

Julia Clark commented on Occupy Eugene‘s link.
The feds took the res and turned it into a refuge where no one could use it in a livable fashion, not even natives. What % of res lands went to the corporate state and industrialist during the reduction of the reservations? It was the profiteers and the corporatism that created a market for mercenaries. ie scalping AKA murder.

Americans should be behind these people, I know what it’s like to be victimized by a broken system where no one cares. When they commit crimes (police and government) nothing is done, all show for a slap on the wrist. But if you dare do something what they do you’re attacked, arrested, jailed and punished to no end. All while you stay in jail and they prove your guilty. America is so screwed up, don’t think so, wait till it happens to you..
This is something that I’ve been reading alot about. Harry Reid has land buttressed right up against the Bundy ranch. He wants that land all around really really bad. He is such an evil criminal. He has development projects in the works with the Chinese and is using the federal government and the bureau of land management to threaten and bully these ranchers and steal their land. It’s so insidious.

In the fight to protect rights and resources, certain people will be demonized. Tried as terrorists. Tell me, why would you be on the side of BLM?!!?! Good God people. Get the stick out of your ass and wake up. Did everyone forget about the recent wild horse scandal? What about the cracking on federal land. People are also confusing mass fact between the Hammonds and the Bundy’s. Maybe we should put BLM on the stand. Charge them with terror. That’s what they are doing. Protecting corporations and dwindling private property. Wake up America. Or shut up.

Just like Tora Bora in Afghanistan and eastern Syria. No minerals = no British/US presence. The invisible shadow government instructing the perceived US federal government…..it is all about the minerals under the ground….and ultimately the wealth…prosecuted under the guise of an “arson” charge for burning their ranch land in a manner that has happened for a century. China wants that land….Hammonds and Bundys farms both….so they create a perception deception issue to use as a programmed TV hoax story tied to their allowed use of federal land…this is not federal land. It is private property. The thieving Network for Global Corporate Control punching the buttons

Secretary of State John Kerry, speaking to reporters in Egypt on Saturday, said “there must be a willingness on all sides” in Egypt to make “meaningful compromises on the issues that matter most to all of the Egyptian people.”

And, Kerry said, Egyptians must stay focused on economic and political opportunities to succeed in forging a successful democracy. The United States wants to help all it can but not interfere in Egypt’s affairs.

“We come here as friends,” Kerry said — not as proponents of a particular group, person or ideology.
